On 24–25 June, Bernima's CEO and founder Dr. Sergey Milutin joined Legal Innovators Europe at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel — the France edition of the conference series run by Cosmonauts in association with Artificial Lawyer. Over two days, it convened the European legal-innovation community at the intersection of technology, innovation, and the business of law.
The event gathered more than 400 participants, 45-plus speakers, and 15-plus exhibitors drawn from law firms, in-house legal teams, litigation practices, and legal-operations functions across Europe and beyond. For a company building secure infrastructure for legal AI, the composition of the room mattered as much as the agenda.
A market defined by the buyer
What stood out was who was on the programme. The 2026 speaker faculty was anchored by in-house leaders — Group General Counsel from L'Oréal and The Adecco Group, the Head of A&O Shearman's Fuse innovation hub, and senior figures from firms such as Eversheds Sutherland. These are the people who own the risk decision on legal AI, not the people demonstrating the models.
